It's not just the score but the trend. That score could be the result of years ago and could be stable now or even decreasing or you could be steadily building deposits. You will need to be retested at an interval you and your doc agree on like 6 months/1 yr.


Here is a risk calculator that you can put your info in and see what difference a statin would make. It is the same one my cardiologist used.
