That is pretty standard boilerplate for most products. Even massive companies can't cover every possible damage from their product. It would be suicidal for a smaller business to do it.

So- I have a pair ordered from Home Depot, scheduled for delivery today.
Now that it comes to it, I'm a bit nervous in trusting JUST the device... still gonna run water in the sink.
I suppose proof of function would be simply that it drips when cold, right?
I've seen videos of it on the end of a hose. Is that a safe way to do it, or would it be better on the actual faucet?
