I just got off the phone with my buddy, who is a huge Alabama fan and a retired HS coach, and we just spoke out that. He stated he thought Saban staying around, even just having an office, was a horrible idea.

He stated no coach wants to take over and still have the former coach looking over his shoulder, especially when it's Saban. He was shocked when he heard that Saban would have full access to the players, which he thought made no sense.

He thought it was best for Saban to move to his new Florida home and truly retire and leave the program alone. He said what if Saban disagreed with what he saw going on, who are the higher ups going to listen to the real HC or Saban?
