Why is anyone questioning taking a quality experienced WR

Because we have 85 scholarships, otherwise I hope we get 3 quality experienced players at every position from the portal

The saying goes every dark cloud has a silver lining. But for Tiger fans, every silver cloud has a dark lining. No good news is ever accepted without some bone heads trying to find a way to spin it to bad.

5-star Sampson didn’t get much action in Tampa

It was mainly an exhibition game anyway. Let the seniors and guys leaving who stayed for the bowl have their moment

It says the coaches that had the best offense in the country wanted him here. The idiotic overthinking and bitching here is undefeated.

You added a veteran receiver that had 1000+ yards receiving this past year. THAT guy is now the guy on your team that is a proven go-to guy.
It doesn’t mean the other guys won’t step up and excel. I would actually think that one of the freshmen from last year will actually contribute greatly if not 2 of them. Now you don’t have to count on it though.

Was listening to hunt last week and he said he knows he can't judge a player(s) off of on practice but the wr that left Jalen and Sampson had drops... now they got open but dropped passes.. it's the same thing Jordy was saying before the season... Sampson and Jalen dropped passes.. it happens but you can't go into next season and just hope they get over it..

It says the same thing that Swann said about the QB room. There's talent, it's just short on experience. Best case scenario, the transfer doesn't end up being the main contributor.

Bowl games are where you want your young studs to breakthrough after a whole season and a month of bowl prep

Like you said, it’s just an exhibition. Parker played more than Sampson

Another experienced guy will pay huge dividends during the first half of the season while the young guys progress

Because our defense is all time bad and devoid of talent, yet every time we hear of a portal signing it’s on the offensive side of the ball. We better score 60 a game next year because 50 won’t be enough.

We don't have the luxury of having 3 games pass with serious drops that kill a season before it ever gets started....

Sound familiar.

It’s so the other teams can’t double team the number 1 receiver. When you have multiple threats to catch the ball the opposing defense can’t concentrate on one. You can run out a bunch of receivers to spread the defense out, which will then open the run game up more.

I’ll lifetime ban bet that even if nothing else changes the defense will be significantly better next year and 50 points will win every game on the schedule.

Can any of our WRs play DB? Some of the best ever were converted WRs.
