What are it's boundaries? Obviously, all of LA. Houston? How far into TX?

We are a national brand. I feel we start with our state and likely Texas and gulf south but if there is mutual interest we go out and get them anywhere. Even international.

Circled area with a new place up north.

Geaux tigers.

ETA.
It’s a unique situation.

The only power team in the state unlike Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia (somewhat debatable) Texas and Florida.

Arkansas has Arky only but not enough players in that state to sustain.

LSU got 90% of top players in La. ………….90%!!!!!

Then BK is known for Oline and TE. He will snag some guys from the Midwest.

Not sure about California and also not sure we want to go that far anymore.

We will always be focused on Louisiana kids first. Before you say “ well duh” -understand that our most productive players have always been homegrown talent and we’ve often had staffs that squandered resources chasing kids who turned out to be less productive than kids in state. East Texas would be next and that goes back to at least the 1970s. Mississippi kids rarely work out and the resources spent there rarely are worth it. Florida has been good to us. Georgia has been good to us. The Mobile area. That’s pretty much it with cherry picking guys through connections randomly from wherever. A kid from Tennessee and the Carolinas here and there.

Our top 4 recruiting states aren't really debatable imo...

#1 - Obviously Louisiana
#2 - Texas (more specifically, East Texas)
#3 - Florida - We've always dipped into Florida
#4 - Georgia - We've been going here more frequently in recent years

We need to add Mississippi & Alabama to the list...especially Mobile
