I read that BB going to the Falcons would require Arthur Blank firing both Terry Fontenot and Rich McKay because Bill is going to want either want full control or his own hand picked GM in place.
Blank would dump Fontenot in a heartbeat, but I don't see him firing McKay.

Agreed. I doubt they give Belichick serious consideration.
And yes Jayden is going to be rated much higher than Penix come draft time, if not already. Penix looked awful Monday night. His mechanics caught up with him. And Jayden has the wheels Penix can't come close to.

I do.
Penix is inconsistent and disappeared in several games this year when he had a lot o pressure in his face, played horribly on the biggest stage, is pretty immobile, and has a bad injury history.
ETA:
I'd take Maye and Williams over Penix as well. He's got arm talent, but I wouldn't call him pro-ready and I think his floor is living on the IR.

Did you not watch the national championship game? Penix’s pocket awareness is awful and lacks any kind of mobility. His mechanics need work and he plays like dog shite when faced with any amount of pressure.

This would remind me so much of Mike Ditka going to the Saints.
It just doesn't fit and he is WAY past his prime of coaching. As a Saints fan, I would love Belichick gong to the Falcons.

Have you seen Penix play under pressure? Dude throws off his back foot every pass and has no pocket awareness. Not to mention his horrible wind up throwing motion.
