A buddy and I have been interested. Space and labor requirements being the main detractors. Is the hustle worth it? Do you have a warehouse to store and dry? How is liability insurance?

Somewhere around 90 percent of your rentals would be on the weekend, which is a buzzkill. If you and your buddy are relatively strong or at least not complete weenies, you could alternate weekends. In terms of space, the best way to do it would just be buy a cheap carport and keep them covered with tarps, assuming you dont live in some neigbhorhood with a dooshy HOA.

Cleaning is the most aggravating part. You have to blow them back up during the week and clean them. And if it rained that weekend or it was a watersldie, you have to dry it out and the inflatables are heavy as hell, like the other guy said.

Wouldn't be much clerical work, aside from marketing and social media. There are two or three different services taht build the website for you and let customers reserve online for about 200 dollars month. It's more like being a delivery guy than a business owner.

It's not a bad side hustle, but it's also not god's gift to side hustles. Probably just do some more research and ask your buddy to do the same and then talk about it later. If you do it for this year, you'd want to be up and running by Easter weekend. That's always one cof the biggegst weekend.
