It's impressive how dumb a large number of our fans are
If you don’t think he and bama got preferential treatment, you are the dumb one
They were literally ranked the highest they possibly could have been every single year of the CFP. Go look at it and tell me I’m wrong.

I always love this amazing logic from window lickers.
Give a team chances other teams never get, and if they cash in, they deserved it.
I can never get enough of this quote from your fellow Bama alum, Reece Davis:
"You give Nick Saban enough chances, he will eventually beat you!".
Yes indeed. You can apply that logic to anyone for anything for any reason at all times and eventually, you will look like a prophet.

Look, the bottom line is they wanted to avoid another SEC champion. UGA was without question the best chance at that so they dropped them when they lost the SECCG.

2010 Bama: 9-3
“I think Bama is the best team in the country. They just don’t know how to close out games. They pass the eyeball test for me.”- Robert Smith, ESPN.
This shite has been going on far too long.

They also had a loss. FSU was unblemished.

It's not Nick, it's Alabama.
Yes, he's a great coach, likely the greatest of all time.
However, college football has long been ruled by the "Helmet Test," the idea that blue-bloods are always the better team when compared to someone else.
The only team that beats Alabama in the "helmet Test" is Notre Dame.
Evidence:
1966: Alabama is undefeated, while Notre Dame and Michigan State play to a 10-10 tie in MSU's last game of the season. Notre Dame, who was #1 going into that game, retained their #1 ranking and won the national championship after beating USC 51-0.
1977: Alabama and Notre Dame both have early season losses, while Texas was undefeated going into bowl season. Notre Dame, led by Joe Montana, beat Texas in the Cotton Bowl, and jumped from #5 to #1, over a #3 Alabama team that had won their bowl over tOSU big.
1978: Alabama loses to USC early in the season, but beats #1 Penn State in the Sugar Bowl, but will only share the title with USC. That's right, Alabama was awarded the national title by the writers over a team that beat them.
2011: Alabama wasn't conference champions, and the computers put Okie State at #2, but the voters decided the Cowboys "failed the helmet test" and Alabama got the rematch.
2017: Alabama again didn't win their division, but the committee put them in .

Alabama always gets preferential treatment, on and off the field. All anyone has to do is replay Bama games and study the penalties and when they are called or not called. Bama has been the darling of the TV world and thereby the SEC, just follow the money. Not saying Bama has not been an elite team, they just seem to get all the breaks on and off the field but especially on the field.
