Do thyme and oregano have any place in homemade coonass boudin?

I could probably put thyme on just about anything. Never had in boudin though.

Coonasses don’t make boudin. That would be the prairie Cajuns.

Thanks guys. Was just wondering if anyone ever tried it. I have seen it in a couple of online recipes, but it sure didn't sound coonass kosher to me. Must be recipes from Boston or Portland Oregon.

Oregano is a hard no. A little bit of thyme would be okay but it's not a necessary ingredient.

Never made boudin, but thyme works great with many “coonass” foods.

I've never put thyme in boudin but I can't see a little bit hurting anything. Fresh parsley is a must imho

A little thyme, sure.

Oregano, no.

I’ve never made boudin (would love to learn), but I would say no to both
