The Baton Rouge and Shreveport built distribution centers haven't even made it to production yet. There isn't enough demand.
And most of the work done inside a fulfillment center is via robot. The humans just pack the boxes.
Amazon's goal is 1 day delivery standard for Prime. To do that all of the FC's have to be built.
Cool tech but horrible place to work.
