How young does SDV have to be to have a 19 year old daughter (allegedly) and worship Andrew Tate without it being, uh, weird as hell?

I guess it's probably weird to have a teen daughter and idolize a guy who thinks she should be treated as a commodity on OnlyFans, but let's set that aside for the time being.

Almost everyone on here agrees with 99.999% of his platform and deep down knows he would be an incredible President.

They simply cannot get over the 2020 election and view Trump as an incumbent, and are emotionally driven by the Dem lawfare.

There's no getting around it for those people, as was calculated by the Dems. It is what it is.

100% true. Its also 100% true that DeSantis hasn't ran a good campaign, which is extremely disappointing.

I guess maybe he seemed like a badass when I was hearing soundbites, but when you get him on a debate stage or out at a public event he is kind of awkward/dorky. Which is fine and not indicative at all of his ability or inability to govern, but you won't get elected if you're that way for the most part.

This is not true at all. No one has the ground game he has or even close. No one has the organization he has.

Anyone would have a hard time overcoming more Negative Ad Expenditures than the entire field combined while facing a de facto incumbent that is hiding in his basement

Well people who are widely viewed as immature, unproductive, celebrity obsessed and failures to launch might have an incentive to invent such things

But generally, I'm sure you're right

And its not translating in the polls at all. The most important part, the messaging, hasn't been good. Or at least not good enough to overcome the attacks that you mentioned.

Why did you think I was referring to you? You made a general comment about why anyone would lie about having a wife/child and I offered up a hypothetical.

As I've said, I'm a huge fan of the turn you've recently taken, these are really big steps and you should be proud of your progress

It hasn't been handled ineptly at all, its been handled amazingly. The "horrible campaign" BS is just MAGA talking points with no reality.

His team has knocked on 3 million doors in Iowa.

30,000 campaign volunteers just in that state.

1500 precinct captains to caucus (the rest of them don't have that combined)

60k caucus commits

Great! So you think DeSantis will win in Iowa?

Do you think there's anything DeSantis could have said or done that would have won over enough (historical) Trump voters to win the primary?

Given the emotional state of MAGAland after the BS indictments, I don't think magically stopping the flow of illegals across the southern border, personally paying off the national debt and finding DB Cooper could have gotten him the nomination.

+1.

RDD's opportunity, after Potatobrain's idiotic decision to weaponize the DOJ, was to emphasize the battlefield was changed to 21st century Lawfare, and that Trump, for all his positives, was ill-equipped to handle its legal nuances.

DeSantis is a bright lawyer. It would have put the campaign in his wheelhouse, and he could have remained complimentary of Trump and his policies.

Didn't happen though.

You should support his border policy, but that doesn’t mean you should support the man as a candidate over another.

Would that have gotten you to switch your primary vote from Trump to DeSantis?
