I’m thinking no.
Text usually entails somewhat timely response in my opinion.
For example an email sent after hours saying “do this” can reasonably be expect to imply tomorrow (absent words like ASAP or Now of course). But a text “do this” would be perceived as meaning now or soon.
In my opinion.
