Hey, you laugh, but in the early 20th century, Jewish mobs were neck and neck with the Italian mobs in terms of power and reach. The Kosher Nostra was filled with guys as ruthless at Al Capone ever was. Meyer Lansky, Arnold Rothstein, Mickey Cohen, Bugsy Seigel... those guys were a Who's Who of mobsters.
