quote:
Why are restaurant chains moving their headquarters to Atlanta? It seems Atlanta has become a hub for them.
Same reason they are also moving to Dallas too (Raising Cane's, Smoothie King, 7/11, Pizza Hut, Chili's, etc).
- Access to international airports with domestic hubs so they can easily fly to their markets
- A steady stream of young white collar workers.
- Although Dallas and Atlanta aren't exactly ringing examples of quality of life measures. Places nearby like Plano, Frisco, John's Creek, and Alpharetta are routinely named some of America's best places to live. If you can find a job that pays an extra 1k to 2k per month, you probably come out the same financially and you're living in a better run city.
These aren't complicated concepts but Louisianans still like to cope instead of holding their leaders accountable.
