You think a mask helps?

Of course it does. It's not a magic bullet but it certainly helps.

If you drive a car anywhere, stop. It won't solve the problem of highway auto deaths, but it will certainly help. Sure, it's a minor inconvenience to you, but "IF iT SaVEs ONe LIfe!"

If you eat food, stop. It won't solve world hunger, but your not consuming food will certainly help.

Etc, ad infinitum. So, so very stupid.

Unless you are wearing a single use N95 mask in a controlled environment for no more than 8 hours, your flimsy piece of cloth isn't doing a thing

25 years of training and experience with hazardous and biohazardous exposure prevention. Chemical and biological. Fluid borne, airborne, vapor particulates and gases, viruses, carcinogens and other chemical vapors such as mercury vapor and formaldehyde. Prevention methods of inhalation, absorption, ingestion and injection.

Your ear loop masks do NOTHING.

If I wasn't clear enough, let me say that again... EAR LOOP CLOTH MASKS DO NOTHING. The only effect is a psychological condition through the virtue signal that makes you feel like you're preventing something and gives you a false sense of protection from something that you honestly cannot protect against without wearing sanitary latex gloves at all times combined with sealed eyewear and ear protection along with a fitted, fully sealed N95 or P100 respirator.

If these facts bother you, I'm sorry, but you should ignore the talking box and pay attention. This subject is a major aspect of my job. You can greatly mitigate the chances of contracting Covid, but the measures are ridiculous and the virus itself isn't that bad in all honesty. If you're already in a high risk category, you definitely should take these precautions anyway, but the rest of us just need to live our lives because Covid is here to stay.

The virus is VERY tiny, and floats in the air like aerosols. If in your lungs, you don't even have to cough to spread it. It's so small and light that the act of naturally exhaling is enough to carry the virus out of your lungs and body, and right through/around your basic cloth masks. Then, it hangs there in the air to be carried by drafts or just to suspend for many, many hours waiting for another person to inhale it right through/around their cloth mask. Masks are much more effective at preventing the spread of influenza, but not Covid.

The only thing that mask can do is stop you from spitting on someone
