Is there a player available that instantly puts NOLA in a position to compete with Denver or Boston? If not, then nothing should be explored.
And how do you reach that conclusion without...exploring?

Are we looking for something this season, or future?
It needs to be now, Zion is in year 5, BI year 8....we're wayyyyyyyy behind schedule. We shouldn't dick around another season.

I'd think if you think there is no player we can add to this core to make you think we can compete with a Denver or Boston, then short of the owner just cashing checks for a profit, there's no real reason to keep this core together, so we should move to pivot off of BI/Zion.

This is a given, but i don't see a trade available that improves this team that much.
We also don't know who is available, NBA GMs will know that. And another also, I never said make a trade for the sake of making a trade. I said an upgrade needs to be explored.

I can't think of any good reason as a fan for not wanting to explore upgrades unless, again, you think as presently constructed, you're confident we can beat any team.

Now you are just pointing out semantics. You knew exactly what I meant.

I agree hole-heartedly with this.

Sure, there are players, but at what cost? Are you willing to trade Trey, Zion, Bi?
