St. Tammany
39ish degrees. Calm with WNW thermal.
Bow
I’m in a lock on I just hung yesterday. Activity has picked back up around me a little but still pretty dead. Bucks are mostly awol. Just had two young does cruise through on the ridge opposite me. Only shooter bucks from here out.

Pretty active morning for me so far. Had those two young deer come through early. A buck was talking towards me through the woods but he caught wind of something he liked better and right angled out of here. Shortly after that, a doe walked basically to the base of my tree. I’m on a ridge next to a drop off, so not setup very high. Maybe 15’. She looked up at me and stomped and blew a couple times, but decided I was nothing and kept walking. A small 6pt came through about 5 minutes later trailing her. Now I’ve got a spike in the bottom of the draw next to me that I’m pretty sure is scared of his own shadow. He’s been walking in circles for 30 minutes jumping every so often.
No shooters, but good to be covered up with deer in the deep woods. Goofy critters.
