No. It shows a lot of us don’t care to pay over pampered athletes to play school for not only free but get paid while others are struggling to to survive their way financially through school. Many of these other people if not most will make more important contributions to the betterment of the world than these kids will, but our investment should be in them and not a kid that may help in finding cures for deadly diseases, developing ground breaking technologies in computing, manufacturing and energy.

Nope, we need to pay for a kid to live in a penthouse while playing school. A kid that with almost 99% certainty will do nothing else meaningful towards the greater society once done.
