It’s supposedly an initiative to simply modify existing regulations, and treaty, and given we are charter members of the UN, and given our current leadership in place, I do not find this very unthinkable in the least. I actually think it’s quite plausible if we aren’t very aware of the language, and don’t hold our officials feet to the fire, and that’s why this is important to be aware of. Again, it’s being sold as modifying existing treaty and regulations for public health, and it’s not as if we haven’t sold our rights down the river for the sake of public health before to anyone demanding it of us. We willingly handed it over. It was the morally right thing to do. Remember?
