She was born in Cut Off. Parents divorced when she was very young. Mother got custody and started a continuous cycle of fake illnesses with the child to gain sympathy and money. Made her use a wheelchair for most of her childhood to pretend she was incapable of walking and then pretended she had leukemia and several other illnesses as a child.

It’s called Munchausen Syndrome. When a parent or caregiver claims that the child or person in their care is very sick to gain sympathy or financial gain. They actually sometimes will slowly poison the child to make them sick.
