re: Friday was the best day for the school cafeteria!

I went to school before all that fake and soybean crap hit the schools. Our lunch was always made with fresh ingredients and everything was cooked in the school cafeteria. Food wasn't made at one school and shipped to other schools. We never heard of anything called free lunch. We didn't have pizza or hamburgers with the fake grill marks on them. We only had white milk to drink for lunch. After you ate lunch you could go to the candy place to buy candy or a soft serve vanilla ice cream cone. On Fridays we always had some type of seafood such as tuna fish fish sticks or some awful dish that was made with tomato sauce with chunks of fish in it that was served over rice. I really never was hyped up on Fridays because I didn't like what was served except for the tuna. I didn't like that fish dish at all. Our cafeteria had the best bread pudding that you ever tasted.
