Which Trump supporters here truly believe that Trump is a devout practicing Christian?

To me it all seems like a schtick and a ruse to win the Religious Right voting bloc, which no Republican can ever win the presidency without. But then again I think Trump is a clinical narcissist and clinically insane and practically bat shite crazy, and I'm biased.
We all have biases, but the pastor at Trump's "home church" said that he's never seen him before and never met in the six years that he'd been there.
Trump over the years had been photographed coming out of every type of establishment in New York City 50 times, every establishment but church.
“I once invited President Trump to Bible study,” Pence said in his speech. “He really liked the passages about the smiting and perishing of thine enemies. As he put it, ‘Ya know, Mike, there’s some really good stuff in here.’”
The former vice president continued in that vein as he turned to the scandal over Trump’s refusal to return classified documents he wasn’t legally allowed to keep: “I read that some of those classified documents they found at Mar-a-Lago were actually stuck in the president’s Bible … which proves he had absolutely no idea they were there.”
A good follow-up question would probably be "Do Trump supporters even care?" It's human nature to resent being lied to and resent people who lie to you, but in this case it doesn't even matter and these people don't even care.

I'm not sure that an overwhelming majority of believers care. They however do care that he professes to believe in many of the same things they do care about.....and he is protective of religious liberty.

He might identify as Christian but I doubt he is religious at all. That doesn't bother me. I do find it comical that a lot of people buy the dog and pony show though

I have no idea, as I don't read the hearts and minds of men.
Neither do you, or anyone else. I'm sure there are some really "good" people in the public eye that have dark souls.
Moses murdered a dude. Samson was smashing prostitutes. David sent a dude to be killed in war after he had knocked up the guy's wife. I could go on and on... everyone is a sinner, so I think that's probably a poor measure of who you may or may not think is a "devout practicing Christian."

I'm not really interested in peering inside the souls of my elected representatives.
I'm just gonna vote for the person who is going to do things I like more than whoever they are running against. I don't have the bandwidth to concern myself with too much else.

Imagine still trying to separate Trump from the religious right 8 years later. No one gives a shite. Trump understands Christianity's importance as part of the foundation of America. You don't have to be a Christian to understand that.

Who said Trump was / is a devout practicing Christian ? Certainly Trump has never said that. There is a lot of difference between an active practicing Christian and a person that believes in its teachings. I do know that Biden promotes being a highly devout Catholic which is comical on all fronts as this bastard is a Pedophile , abortion promoter lying POS
