I expect many of our defensive players to show huge improvement next year.

I have never seen so many players look to be overthinking assignments as I saw this season.

We know for sure that Wingo and Perkins are top tier SEC Talents who were stuck in a system of chaos and confusion.

Can’t wait to see the returning talent prove their true potential!

House has destroyed an entire generation of talent

That’s not the point. Obviously I’m saying that even proven talent regressed on the field.

I feel we were robbed of a year of generational talent in Perkins. Thank goodness we had JD, that would’ve been such a shite year.

That’s a given. I don’t believe we’ll see another incompetent Defensive staff ever again as long as BK is here

What? He played all season hurt--had offseason surgery that hampered him before his most recent injury--and without a position coach. He absolutely can improve next year at LSU. I'm not saying that means he should come back--he is who he is size wise, and might only be able to move from 3rd or 4th round pick this year to a 2nd rounder in '25. And the risk of injury might not be worth it. I'm a huge fan and will support him no matter what he decides. (I know he announced he's leaving, but I think has until January 15th to change his mind if he doesn't sign with a sports agent).

I agree. The rant likes to dog on guys like Chestnut but there's no way you just suddenly turn to shite. The DB coaching was horrible. I expect all of them to be much better next year including the ones transferring out. Except Harris lol

Even Harris will be better than this year.

You are reaching. Number one, almost all players improve as they get older. Number two, Wingo wasn’t a top tier player this year because he was either playing hurt or absent.

I hated the way LSU’s defense did not use movement to confuse the offenses, and I’m looking forward to a defense that dictates to the offenses. But lets not blame the troubles in Palestine on House.

It’s not a reach. It was the opinion of almost every preseason poll based on last year.

Agree. There will be some guys who looked rough this that will look all conference next year. I feel like Major Burns is pretty good when he can play up near the line. It’s just a matter of putting guys where they are at their best.

If they just played with determination and passion I'd be happy. I was tired of watching the LSU plodding Zombie defense.
