Not at all. While the defense was poor the offense shouldn’t get a pass for playing poorly in the 4th quarter of 3 games which ultimately lead to losses. It was refreshing to see LSU drive down the field when needed and punch it in. Brings hope we should see more of the same next year. I am not a psychic so saying LSU would’ve won with a different QB would be me lying.

Next year has quite a few games against teams with great offenses it would be nice to see the defense improve but if it doesn’t the offense will have to play all four quarters.

In the end you have to score more points than the other team. Burrow didn’t have a potent defense and played much better teams in 2019. After the Texas game I had no doubt if LSU needed a score he would make sure it happen. He was a killer.
