In rural Oklahoma we do stuff like that without ever expecting, let alone asking, for money.

Yeah it's kind of like parking at legion Field in Birmingham back in the day. I would say the dumb move it to NOT pay them lest something unfortunate happens to your car whilst shopping.

I did my undergrad at Birmingham-Southern, so I know the quality of that part of town.

If you are dumb enough to believe you have to pay to park at a grocery store than I don't feel bad for you if you got scammed.

Tell me you have never had to park in an inner city in America....without telling me.

You can pay them....or buy a new paint job and a set of tires.

Denver's mayor rounded up and has given them a choice, move into a group shelter space or a one way bus ticket out of town.

Hundreds of migrants in Denver tent city evicted by authorities over health, safety

Denver Mayor Mike Johnston said the city forecasts spending $180 million - 10% of its annual budget - assisting migrants with housing, food and other services this year.

Officials said many of the migrants moved from the encampment on Wednesday speak no English, have no connection to the city, and lack federal permission to work. Their children are legally entitled to a free public education.
