So what? Them getting cute doesn’t excuse the official fricking up who reported to him.

The official didn’t even mix up the 2 guys in his face. He mixed up one of them and someone who never even got near him.

You are aware that referees are surrounded by players constantly, correct? Most of them manage to not hallucinate and double down on their hallucinations

To assume a hallucinating referee would not hallucinate in the absence of one (unrelated) player is absurd
