You do realize that trees put off water as a by-product of transpiration…right.

It would mitigate the heat waves experienced in the hotter / drier places on the planet.

I mean, the Sahel was “re-greening,” despite no discernible difference in precipitation. Why? Increased CO2.
The temps in the region also dropped.

Then, presto, the “world” decided to “build” the great green wall of Africa.

The “control” (the Sahel) was drastically changed.

Now…the “living experiment” can’t be replicated on such a grand scale.
