Why can't you hold it against him? He quit on his team as an ultimatum.
I have no issue with a player leaving for the portal. But if you want to leave, then leave. Or if you want more money, say "after the bowl I'm going to ask for more money"
But skipping the bowl as a negotiating tactic is a deal-breaker for me.

Do we have absolutely any evidence of that at all? Or is this one of those things that one guy said once in a message board thread and then everyone just ran with it?
