re: Is dog obedience training worth it?

we got our first puppy last year and we had no idea what we were doing. We sent her to All Dogs Unleashed two-week program, and it was as if they gave us a different dog. The whole experience was great and they even offer lifetime free Maintenace refreshers. you just have to pay for the trainer's mileage. I think they said it was a dollar a mile. They will come to your house, or you can meet them at parks and retail shops to train more in the public. If you ever have to board your dog for 3 days or more you can even pay 25 extra dollars a night for full refreshers during boarding. We did that before the holidays to get her ready for the increased foot traffic in the house and was well worth it.
