Wtf? It’s completely different. She didn’t blindside some law-abiding accountant on his morning commute and shoot him for his car, she was desperate to get away from an abusive and controlling captor. Both she and the boyfriend have consistently said she didn’t even take part in the actual killing.

I’m not saying that her mother’s crimes, no matter how heinous, justify brutally murdering her in cold blood, but let’s at least acknowledge the fact that Dee Dee Blanchard was in no way innocent or randomly targeted.

A better “justice” would have been to sentence Gypsy to a mental health facility to serve her time, same for the guy, but have his sentence be longer.

I mean for anyone to make the leap that those two crimes are remotely the same indicates a level of mental ....well, I don't have to tell you, you obviously see how stupid the poster making that statement is.
