re: Imagine if you will….a College Football Players Union (CFPU)

This is exactly the kind of response and discussion I had hoped would come out of posting this topic. I was getting tired of everyone reacting (positively and negatively) to our present state of NIL and transfer portal issues. We need to think about what the future holds. A players union is a real possibility at the rate we’re going.. And while it may at first glance appear to be a negative, there can be an upside if it is implemented and regulated properly. A salary cap would end the outrageous amounts being paid to individuals and allow a more equitable distribution of that money to everyone including sports other than football not to mention the universities they represent.
