It has happened to me twice while visiting in Louisiana. One guy had parked in the space next to the open one and was waiting for another car with family in it to arrive(this one happened at a graduation ceremony). I had elderly people in the car with me and the parking lots were just about full, while more parking was available in a field about 150 yards away. I pulled in the parking space very slowly while backing them away, got yelled at for doing so, and got out and filmed them and their car and license plate with the phone while telling them if I get back and find any damage to the car the police will be looking for them.

The other time was at a shopping mall. Both were trashy.

People are crazy and selfish these days. Weird world.
