EVs are garbage outside of a city work commute or running errands
So 90% of vehicle use?

At worst in an emergency it’s a complete nightmare. Gas stations are abundant and take 5 min to fill up
Someone's never evaced from an hurricane.

Imagine a world of EV's trying to flee New Orleans at hurricane time

What people don’t realize, where do you charge when living in apartments, duplexes with no garages, basically in 75-80% of residences in the United States?
For those living in single family homes, you might be able to charge every night, but how many would need an electric service upgrade for an EV charging station? I no we would, and our house was built 40 years ago.

I can plan ahead with extra gas, have my tank at full, and have the ability to fill up on the road in a matter of minutes.
That is not possible with EVs.
It isn’t a negative to own an EV, but you should have an ICE along with it.
You need an ICE.

holy anecdotal evidence batman. what's not anecdotal is that circa December 2023, this enormous country is not ready for the crippling mandates and rules coming down from the ruling class czars whose boots you love to lick.
calling city commuting 90% of the driving americans have to do throughout the lifetime of the car's ownership is bullshite. you know it, we know it.
America is the size of Europe. a 2 hour drive for a brit is considered substantial. millions upon millions of Americans look at an 8 hour drive as the bare minimum on deciding whether or not to fly nowadays. 2 hours is a trip to Costco.
we're not ready, but career politicians and bureacrats with ulterior motives and a rock hard erection from their daily expansion of power over our every day lives are making us do it anyway, then using mindless plebs like you to gaslight us into not believing what we see with our very eyes.

This guy wasn't running from a hurricane. He was just trying to drive somewhere.
My next vehicle will be an EB probably, but we'll always have a hybrid or full gas too.

I base everyone of my vehicle purchases on their performance during hurricane evacuations not everyday driving situations said no one ever except well, you

Funny. We had a guy that had to work remotely for three weeks after Ida because he evacuated to Florida in his Tesla and, well, you know……

Well if you wait to evacuate after it hits you are going to run into issues. Same as if you try to charge your vehicle after the power goes out.

If you evacuate for a hurricane in an EV you deserve every ounce of misery coming to you
