Had a lot of them on for background noise and they have been awful. Between the portal and opt outs, a lot of these teams are missing their best players. Some playing with backup QB’s. Some like Syracuse and E Michigan seem to have no desire to be there. There’s no one at the games. ESPN puts zero into the production. I’ve seen high school games with better camera angles. I know the “more football” argument, but these are worse than NFL preseason. Can’t imagine these bowls as they currently constructed are going to be around much longer.

Haven't watched a bowl game in years other than the CFP.

The pre Christmas bowl games featuring directional schools from the MAC, CUSA, and Sunbelt are always trash.

I don't know why anyone would. At least before opt-outs you could make reasoned bets to stay interested. Now, you can't even do that.

The Jacksonville State vs Louisiana game wasn't trash, dumb arse.

Only people watching are degenerate gamblers.

The comeback in the WKU-ODU game was an all-timer. I enjoyed some of the games this past Saturday. Even the Las Vegas Bowl and Celebration Bowl were fun.

Bowls are always mixed bags in terms of competitiveness and attendance. It honestly hasn't seemed much different than years past to me.

If you don't like it don't watch. Some games have been very bad(South Al vs Eastern Mich and USF vs a depleted coach less Syracuse), most have been meh, but others have been pretty exciting and down to the wire(Jax St vs ULL, App St vs Miami, OH, WKU vs ODU, NIU vs Ark St, and GT vs UCF wasn't bad).

The LA Bowl drew about as many viewers as a college basketball game between UNC-Kentucky. Miami Ohio vs Appalachian State outdrew Indiana-Kansas basketball.

Since the biggest brands in CBB can’t beat out G5 CFB, I don’t think the bowl games are going anywhere.

There’s way too many bowls now is one major issue. It’s been the case for awhile now though that, unless your teams of interest happen to play early, the interesting matchups don’t start until after Christmas. Nothing new, I rarely watch any before the ranked matchups come along

College football has been destroyed. I’m ready for people to lose interest so the money will leave and we can get back to some semblance of what it used to be.

The NCAA needs to step in and eliminate the bowl games next season.

They’re meaningless and awful.

All but 3 have been nothing but exhibitions for years. The players have only recently figured that out..

I like players who play for their school. Not sure that's a thing anymore.

The bowls could be so much better. The fact that Alabama and Michigan have only played five times tells you all you Ned to know. There are a ton of matchups people would watch but they fail every year. Once the twelve team playoff stats they need to just put an end to the rest of the bowl games.

Most of the Syracuse team checked out mentally weeks ago. No qb, a shell of a coaching staff, and a bunch of players about to get tossed into the portal when Fran Brown takes over.
