We're on the verge of a second straight 10-win season under CBK and considering the situation he took over, that's pretty impressive.

I will agree with you on bad coaching on the defensive side of the ball, which naturally leads to having a horrendous defense. When your entire defense begins to regress as the season goes along, that's a sign of just bad coaching.

On the offensive side of the ball, I think it's imperative that we keep Denbrock as the OC because it's important that we begin to build stability within the program.

I think we're headed in the right direction, but we still have a ways to go to be a real contender for a NC every year. CBK's two top right now is to make sure we keep Denbrock and get the defensive side of the ball turned around, which I think an entire defensive staff is needed.

CBK has been around this game a long time, so I'm sure he knows there is still a lot of work to do!

Why do people think it’s still 1978 and they play only 11 games? 10 wins these days, especially when you have to count a bowl game to get there, means you are not good enough to compete for anything meaningful.

He wasn’t championship level at ND. He left apparently because of the higher caliber player he can get at LSU. He then recruits at a level below the upper echelon of the conference. So he’s still Notre Dame level in a much more competitive context.

UGa and Bama wipe the floor with LsU in recruiting. He will never compete for championships until that is fixed.
