that doesn't know shite about wolves or risk having to live along side them
Would you really be scared to live in an area where some wolves were released? The last time someone was reportedly killed by a wolf in the US was 13 years ago and it was in Alaska. Like 4 deaths in the past 80 years. This isn't going to be a danger for humans.
Edit: I'm not saying re-introducing them was a good idea, just simply that it would be pretty dumb to be afraid to live or go in an area where the handful of wolves that were introduced live, you're not going to get attacked. If you're a farmer and worried about your livestock, that's a different issue.

With all due respect to anyone that says that, you guys are either full of shite or have never seen a wolf pack up close including in a zoo. Wolves aren't small, 4+ 80lb+ animals running around isn't a fricking joke. These aren't fox or even coyotes, I know multiple people including my mom that was chased walking her dog by a coyote. Now, change that to an animal twice the size.
I can't explain it as you are right wolf attacks have NOT been happening. I see no reason for this outside of just statistically it hasnt happened YET.
ETA: Would I be scared if I was hunting with a weapon with a wolf around, no. It would still raise some hairs and make me more alert.
I'll ask you this, would you feel safe allowing my 10 year old daughter to walk our dog in an area with a wolf pack?
