If Saints lose tonight AND Bucs lose to Jaguars on Sunday we still control our own destiny. Would win the division at 9-8.
Best case scenario is Saints win tonight, Bucs and Falcons lose on Sunday. Then the Saints can win the division next week against the Bucs even if we lose the last game against the falcons.

Why worry about playoffs when you have ZERO chance of winning the SB. It is criminal to have our roster and be in this position when the other teams are down as well.

Not really. If both teams lose this week and the Saints beat the Buccaneers, we have to beat the falcons or the Buccaneers would have to lose to the Panthers. If we beat the Buccs and lose to the falcons and the Buccs beat the Panthers, we lose the tiebreakers and Tampa wins the Division.

Atlanta would likely be eliminated by then, which theoretically makes beating them in Dome a 75% proposition. I know they'd "get up" for a rivalry game but Car would be as likely to beat TB as Atlanta beating us
