Your parents don't care about you enough to set up opportunities for you to meet kids your age in the real world and hang out, which would be bad enough, but then they do the one thing even worse than locking you in your room, they hand you a tablet with an Internet connection and let that be your social life.

Those of you who either had good parents or the good sense and luck to break out of that insanity need to stick together and ruthlessly gatekeep the shitty losers out of your life. It's the only way to stay sane. You won't have as many people to call friends but you'll have more people who actually are friends and will carry you through.
