Yuck. Everything out there seems to be on tiny lots and most of the houses look identical. And every time you blink, there are hundreds more houses, more traffic, etc.
There is a newish Rouses in that area by Archbishop Hannan, but I'm still surprised there isn't much beyond a Dollar General between Madisonville and Ponchatoula on LA22.
Probably better than most of Livingston Parish, but that's not saying much. I'd take Money Hill over that in a heartbeat.
