Sen. Lindsey Graham defended former President Trump's border policy as he shrugged off remarks that undocumented immigrants were "poisoning the blood of our country."

"We're talking about language. I could care less what language people use as long as we get it right," said Graham, while attacking President Biden's border policy.

Trump says and does something stupid or outrageous and the Republican party gets drug into his mess.

Wash, rinse, and repeat. And repeat. And repeat.

But it's the words that Trump uses that causes the big uproar.

I don't care either. The illegals were told not to come here and chose to do it anyway. They should not be given food or shelter at taxpayer's expense and the only bus or plane trip they should get is back to their country of origin. Helping them costs money that is needed elsewhere.

So with Trump words matter. “He said poisoning our country’s blood, he’s literally Hitler.” Calling for the murder of Jews in the corridors of Ivy League institutions is completely ok though…

The left, media and associated corporate globalist world have people like you worried about words rather than ideas and issues. For nearly 4 decades, your kind has "nuanced" the country from a wealthy, center-right Christian nation into a leftist, authoritarian, humanist nation in decline.

Keep worrying about words. The left will continue to promote racism, infanticide, child grooming, censorship, erosion of civil rights, selling off our industry and natural resources and endless proxy wars while you worry about words.

It's called tact. Something Trump doesn't have.

It’s dumber than that. Trump believes the wrong things. Ergo, attack him in every way possible.

Would Ronald Reagan ever use the phrase poisoning the blood?

I think not.

Who cares? We elected a socialist, authoritarian, warmongering stooge in Dubya as the last pre-Trump republican President. The party believes in nothing but war and corporate lobby money and you're worried about stupid shite Trump says? You should be considering why Donald Trump - who has been the same tactless prick in the public eye for most of our lifetimes - is considered a better option by the GOP base than the glut of "nuanced" candidates he's running against. Reagan may have been wiser with words, but his stance on the issues today would draw even stronger attacks from his own party than Trump is.

Trump's not wrong, and the wording was intentional.

Ronald Reagan signed one of the most massive pieces of gun control in the '86 bill and also allowed amnesty, which caused a fairly significant amount of the illegal immigration problems we have now.

So... I'm supposed to be concerned about how someone communicates, instead?
