It is NOT a scrimmage nor is it an exhibition game. It is a game that counts. LSU fans want to win bowl games even against unranked opponents.

of course we want LSU to win. Every game, every sport.

But sorry, this game is meaningless. 10-3 or 9-4 doesn't mean a thing.

I'm just happy to get Nuss and other guys some experience. That's it.

USC and UCLA both lost their best offensive players. USC lost their top 2 QBs.

Tanner Mordecai has struggled at QB for Wisconsin. He's started 9 games and has 6 TDs vs 4 INTs. He's a transfer from SMU where he had big numbers the last 2 seasons there (33/10 and 39/12) so he is capable. Wisky must have a horrid offense. Hopefully we don't make him look like he did at SMU.

Don’t worry the board idiot DallasTiger55 will come in and say it won’t be close. LSU will blow them out.

If you ack interest...Iowa and Liberty got better Bowl games than LSU...and LSU got the early start time....so you can sleep another hour and watch two "better" games and keep your clicker busy.

I can assure you that virtually every LSU fan cares. Even those that say they don’t care, care.

It's an exhibition game.

Fans watch this in the same way they watch a movie...willing to suspend disbelief in the hope that they are entertained.

No it is a bowl game. Not a playoff game, but a damn sight better than being 5-7 and staying home. Remember the "doesn't mean anything" Cheez-It Bowl last year? I think our guys will approach this game like that game, and with similar results.

They've sucked arse, but you can argue so would we without JD.
Offense won’t have much of a drop off besides the QB rushing yards. I’m more interested to see if the defense plays better knowing it’s the last chance of the season to show improvement.

You do know USC defense was worse than LSU’s. That’s saying a lot. UCLA was 4-5 in PAC 12. I think LSU will be just fine.

In my opinion, you couldn't be more wrong.

Wisconsin will come to play, no doubt about it. LSU knows that.

I hope to see both changes and improvement on defense. I hope to see some real promise from Nussmeier - I know he wants to show everyone what he's got. Brian Kelley wants ten wins badly, I think he will make sure that both players and coaches take this game very seriously. If we lose this game, there will be some serious concerns about this team for next season. If we win and look good doing it, there will be reason for much optimism going forward.

This game may mean nothing to you, that's fine. But I think it means a lot to plenty of others.
