All I know is this.

I mean, the Magic Negro is a VERY old trope. Really the trope itself in a general sense isn't racially singular.
It's a wise person of a different race/creed/culture (sometimes with overt magical powers) helps the protagonist overcome something.
Red from Shawashank was a magic negro.
The Indian guy from A Little Princess was one.
But this premise is just...ugh. Overdone and overwrought. Looks awful
