Among other things, I blame I-59 that gives easy access to people from Pearl River, etc. Sort of like Hammond with I-55. Mandeville and Covington were mostly populated by people moving north and very little pressure from the north while Slidell and Hammond had lots of folks moving south.

Take any random exit on I-55 or I-59 and the folks look like your average Slidell or Hammond resident.

Very accurate for not only the north shore but also almost any areas.

The further you get away from the interstate, the nicer it gets. Idk what it is but interstates are magnets for trash.

So you live 3 miles up the road from PR and that makes you better ? I left PR for over a decade and lived in Hammond. What I’ve come to realize is that trash is everywhere in Louisiana rather you are from the West Bank or Chalmette. What I’ve also come to realize is that great people come from all these places that we all shite talk. Take it for what it’s worth but I guess this is my time to eat shite since my neighborhood lies in Slidell and PR.
