HVL said that when she was in high school Kobe saw one of her workout videos & asked her to go workout with his daughter. Which she did for a week or so.

No, it's not HVL, even though there is connection between HVL and Kobe from Mamba camp in CA. Coach Kim, Vanessa Bryant and her eldest daughter met at the HOF induction ceremony when they inducted both Kobe and Kim. They spent time together and became instant friends. Vanessa likes and respects Kim. She is a big fan of LSU WBB and has been sending shoes and clothes to the team several times a year since Kim arrived. Vanessa and Nike have named LSU WBB a Mamba Program. LSU WBB have a partnership with Nike Kobe brand, and the team receives exclusive shoes from Mamba and Mambacita. The red shoe and the purple shoe are new designs that were just released.
