Last I checked $5, 6, 7 and some places 8 wasn't the same as "The average is $3.10". It's IMPLYING that gas prices are really high everywhere. Otherwise, he'd of either said "The average gas price today is $1 higher than when I was in office" or :There are some places in California where the gas price is $10 per gallon. Can you believe that? $10."

What I do know is that when Biden took over gas was $1.50 a gallon, so the “average” is double now.

Trump is not into details. When he says gas is $8 a gallon, no one thinks gas is really $8 a gallon. He is just saying gas is high.
