The future must remove power from the old systems and decentralize it where Governments and Organizations can't make them go away with lawfare.
Blockchain is an example of this. X could be the beginning of something as well. But it's still centralized and thus vulnerable to attack. Jack Dorsey's weird arse is working on a blockchain version which is obviously where it needs to go, but I don't trust that little bastard either. We've seen what he's willing to cave to.

I'm not a fan of Dorsey either, but I think he wanted to do the right thing, but just didn't have the power, money or energy to fight to establishment like Musk does, so he caved.
Also, how would a decentralized version of Twitter work? You still have to rely on ISPs, hosting companies, App providers like Apple/Google.
