This is a nationwide problem and it's the number 1 reason teachers are quitting in droves.
Ask any teacher that has quit recently and they will all tell you the same thing. Kids do whatever they want, the parents back them up and then the administrators cave to the parents.
Thus you have a bunch of over-sized entitled shits walking around posing as adults.

Here’s a recent example of a teacher showing what it’s like to deal with parents nowadays. I haven’t personally experienced this yet, but I’ve heard stories from colleagues.
