The Pelicans proposed that to the city and state last year. They wanted a new Arena in the new River District to be a part of the footprint.
Instead I believe they are putting in a minor league soccer stadium and a Top Golf.

warehouse district/ harrahs (caesars lol) / basketball arena... nah lets frick that up.
