FFX for me. Mostly because of Tidus and his dad.
Wasn’t super close with my father as my parents were divorced and he lived states away. I may have felt a bit like Tidus more than I realized at the time.
One summer I was up there visiting as a kid and he took me to GameStop to turn in my OG Xbox for a PS2. The worker suggested FFX as the game to get.
I stayed upstairs for days playing that game. Only coming down to eat.
The ending gets me every time. More so now that he has passed away.
