Didn’t the sanctions just recently finally get lifted? I think we still have one less scholarship this year and next and then they’re all completely in the rear view.
I know it’s not a total excuse but it’s that much harder to build under a cloud like that. And really all of last year, which was year 1, we didn’t know how bad or how long the punishments would be. It makes recruiting (which lsu bball isn’t exactly known for) that much harder.
In my mind, this is really year 1. I don’t know if CMM is the future but I’m willing to at least let this season play out and MAYBE next season as well (if we see some growth/maturity this season, lots of ball left).
More glass half full, SW deserves the benefit of the doubt from ALL Tiger fans as this point. If CMM ain’t it, he’ll get it fixed.
